Clare Lallows
Clare Lallow’s was established in 1867 and has an unrivalled tradition of boat building, restoration, wood working and service. The company combines traditional techniques and craftsmanship with modern materials and technology to provide a wide range of services on all types of boats. In addition to being specialists in the restoration of classic wooden boats such as Ted Heath’s Morning Cloud (now ‘Opposition’) and a sister ship, Easy Glider, we have the facilities and craftsmen available for all types of GRP and gel- peeling work. With our dedicated painting, rigging, fabricating and engineering departments, we can offer a complete service to yachtsmen. We offer a very competitive scrubbing service. We can haul out and store vessels on our own sites and we can use our cherry -picker for mast work. Our fuel berth is open seven days a week and we offer a round the clock repair service during major sailing events.

Established in 1988 Richardsons Yacht Services has retained its status as a local family run business building and servicing yachts, along with a busy chandlery. The move to their new premises in 2016, within Island Harbour has enabled them to offer a more efficient service while maintaining the same high class of work carried out by their team of skilled craftsmen. Spencer Rigging Ltd
Since 1958 Spencer Rigging has been supplying, manufacturing and installing rigging all over the world. Based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight and William Street in Southampton, yacht rigging has always been the major part of Spencer Rigging’s business. We also produce lifting and architectural equipment for clients across commercial, MOD and construction industries, and carry out non-destructive and destructive testing. LEEA accredited and ISO 9001 registered, Spencer Rigging’s loft offers unrivalled manufacturing and lifting facilities, producing rigging for all sectors, including wire swaging 1.5mm to 32mm wire, talurit swaging 1mm to 58mm, rod rigging -4 to -540. Its in-house production of lifting equipment includes webbing (CE Marked), chain, and wire slings.

Victoria Quay
Victoria Quay is a Marine Services Hub located within Royal Clarence Yard in Gosport under development by UK Docks Marine Services who are a family owned business specialising in marine services and infrastructure for ships and boats across the UK. The 6 acre unique waterfront location in Portsmouth Harbour offers facilities including 150m of deep water servicing pontoons, 3.5 acres of hardstanding for boat storage ashore, workshops and offices currently housing 10 marine industry based businesses from riggers to painters, mechanics and electricians, covered space for marine equipment storage, as well as a 75T Travel hoist, 50T boat mover, 40T Mobile Crane, 4T Forklift and a Tow Boat. Victoria Quay has been operational for 18 months and has already become a vibrant facility providing a turnkey solution for boat maintenance and repairs and has recently completed the construction of a brand new hoist dock enhancing the lifting and launching operations.
